Connor has recently befriended a couple of girls down the road from us, which is fantastic in many ways. They’ve got someone who’s always around and eager to play with them and it gets him out of the house and active, not to mention he’s honing his social skills. Loss and coping
Our frilled dragon Apollo died today. I told the kids tonight and it was interesting to see how they reacted. Briar ran up to look for herself while Connor just got the sort of set look he gets sometimes, until I said: “It’s pretty sad that he died, isn’t it?” Often times my little boy seems to need someone else to open up the topic of feeling ( Read more... ) -
Hobo farming
Briar and I were hanging out this evening playing The Farming Game. At the time she had oodles of money and I was poor (silly Farmer's Fate cards in the first year...).
