I've recently been thinking about getting another tattoo. I've had the design idea for a long time but life sort of got in the way and I shelved it. I think I'll head on over to New Moon and look at their art work.

Looking at their artwork, but you already have your own design?

I know what I want, now I need to find the artist who can duplicate the style I want. :-)

ah, interesting point. I'm not up to speed on the tricks of getting design to skin. :)

Well New Moon has... something like 7 artists so I like to go and look at their styles, to see who's artwork I like the best. I figure that gives me the best chance of not having artwork permanently etched into my skin that I'm unhappy with the quality of. :-)

Also, since the design I want will feature a tiger I really need to look around because, in the world of tattoos, big cats tend to be done in a very stylized manner and I want a softer, more realistic look. For your average tattoo subject matter you just need to worry about the tattoo artist's artistic ability.

I've had fantastic reviews for the artists there - that's where I'll be going to get my next one the day before the wedding!

I haven't had one done since pre-children but I had all of mine done there.
