i'm gonna write a special friends-only post about this, but you'll be able to skip over it on account of i'm saying it now.
i think it's impossible to be apathetic towards hook-ups. when they're right, they're very right, and when they're wrong, sometimes they're still at least a little right. and i don't mean that in an emotional connection to the hook-up per se. i mean, it's not like i want to be around this person all the time. but damn, i had a good night, and they're a big part of the reason why. you don't have any feelings to confess, you just want to say "thank you". but social mores prohibit that. i have a couple friends who don't understand this. they're mostly the types who've only ever had a few very very serious relationships - you know, the people who don't speak my language.
i like a good hookup, i like the little reminders of those nights. like streetlights at isu or a lighter i found on allen's front porch. you know?
Mike and I didn't actually have sex...it was pretend sex. hehe. Anyway, I agree with your friend above (this coming from the girl who has only had one random hookup ever) in that you'll always remember what a good time it is. And you're too cool of a person too... YAY RANDOMNESS ALWAYS! And boobs. Yay boobs. <3ME
