I am sorry about your troubles. It sounds very similar to what greeted us so many years ago when we had just moved into our first house, but with a big difference. My husband was not at all handy and it cost us a fortune to fix things. Anyhow I was glad to read that you got it almost all straightened out. That sole 15 amp breaker? I am very glad we found out, also. In these old houses, even though the wiring may be new, the methods they used are not up to code. B can do a lot of things, but we want to change out the panel and redo all the breakers, so that will take an electrician.

Dear bright feather,

My username is YayHeaven and I was clicking around on keywords hit a link and ended up at your profile in a round-about way. I hope I am not intruding...it looks like we might have some things in common. :)

I am looking to add friends that will hopefully be meaningful friendships here on LJ. If it helps, here is a little bit more about me to start:

If what is in my profile connects with you and you are adding friends, I wouldn't mind making a new friend here on LJ.

I won't be offended if you aren't interested or don't feel we will connect. Timing and common interests are certainly important.

Happy belated Earth Day! Have a lovely weeke!
