One human heart, looking for clues to what might have happened to it, its previous owner, and whoever parted them. And two gifts from Millenium - a stake and some type of gun, looking for anything suspicious or dangerous about them. I suppose it's too much to ask that there'd be some clue to getting at Millenium in this, but... at least this might be a bit more fruitful than just tossing them in the incinerator straight off.

Ah, it's probably not too comforting, but the city watch is well experienced with dealing with serial killers at this point.
