my relief, let me show it to you

To celebrate me getting that BLASTED bit of dust off of my camera, I thought I'd share the pictures.

I don't know if I can properly show just how happy I am but I spent about an hour last night cleaning ALL MY lenses (read: the 18-55 mm and the 55-200 mm) so that it would just go away only to discover that it wasn't a bit of dust on the lenses but ( Read more... )

I miss having good photo equipment...back when everything was film I had a nice camera and a good telescopic lens. I really don't have a handle on the digital thing, not at all.

Still in love with that pocket watch. Good luck on the reading too!

Aw, well with my digital I can use manual lenses on it. I have to focus manually but that makes it more fun sometimes (except at night, that's a bitch)!

Me too! And thank you!

Oh really?! Geeking out over photography is BRILLIANT. Do you know what sort of camera your roommate has?

Thank you! They're some of my favorites as well. They were! In the fish-bowl, sort of close to the granite (?) rock next to Smith. The flag is the one in front of T-Hall.

Les Choristes is adorable but I need to find one filmmaker. I was thinking Francois Truffaut even though I've already done a project on him, but this is more about the FILMS and less about his life even though there's a lot of crossover there.

Ahahaha. I tried to explain aperture to someone and they gave me really strange looks so that's alright!

Yeah I went outside yesterday and completely abandoned my reading whenever the clouds shifted and the sun shined. Awful time of year for work ethic. AWFUL.

That's what I'm thinking. The biggest issue would be recruiting people to help re-enact them all. That or getting strange looks...oh the things done for art!
