At last! Photos from Cape Cod! My aunt and uncle own a house in Truro and we went down there from Sunday-Friday (optimum chance of avoiding bad traffic). Cape Cod is absolutely beautiful and it's very peaceful. Thank you! They've been edited a bit but the original colors are all there. I alternated between a 18-55mm and a 50-200mm. The last picture (of which I forgot to say, has Edward Hopper's house in it) was taken with the 50-200mm.

You have no idea how much I agree with that last paragraph. I just really want an old (like...built circa 1870) farmhouse. Sometimes I even browse real estate listings matching that description online, just to dream.

I live in an old farmhouse though I'm not sure precisely what year it was built in...early 1700s for sure though. There's a barn attached. There is a lot of character to it!

Drizzly days down the Cape can be a little disappointing, but you seem to have made the most of them and they make for very good photos.

I also don't like modern houses much, particularly down there. The cape houses blend into the landscape and have an almost...rough exterior. Like the sand. Modern houses definitely don't have that!

Was that dinner on the wood there?

It was a little disappointing but we didn't have anything set out in our plans so it was alright.

Me neither! They really just don't fit with the landscape and really conflict with the entire tone of The Cape. You put it lovely though, the cape houses have a definitive rough exterior, one that I'm really fond of!

Yep! I titled the picture "that time we ate murdered lobsters"
