Rooms! And the light coming in!

I love the siding, which looks like wood.

Can't wait to see the porch...

I went by Janice's today, and it was as busy as at your house--the gas people in front, laying pipes; the carpenters in the kitchen...they are laying teakwood on the floor.

Well, I went home and mopped my kitchen on my hands and knees, yes indeed!

I love your house.

I wish I had the ooompf to go scrub my floors. They look like the Bog Monster came for a visit. Or maybe as if we had an old-fashioned tar-and-feather fest right there in the kitchen.

I can't wait to see the hardwood, carpets and tiling added. Those will show up very late in the process--after all the painting and staining and such--so it will be a while.

It's a lot like writing a new video game. I typically leave the sound effects until last, and stick them in only when the game itself is done. It's trivially easy to do, and it suddenly turns the game into something completely different and new.

Same thing for the painting and flooring. Same house, small steps at the end--but a complete revision of how things look. :)
