I'm glad Mycroft and Lestrade have reconciled. This is the best Mycroft and Lestrade can do since they are part of the Empire. Mycroft did manage to fix things for John and Sherlock quite nicely and they will be living happily ever after as soon as they can find a place with better sound proofing. I don't think things will come smoothly but they can work it out.

Yes, by this universe's standards, happy endings might look a bit different! But a more sound-proof accommodation would definitely be a plus! There's a short epilogue still to come.

aww lovely reconciliation between Lestrade and Mycroft, and Lestrade's decision and request suits his character perfectly. and Sherlock and John seem to be sorting things out well too. everyone's happy but I am pleased to see there'll be an epilogue, I've really enjoyed this series.

So sad to see this end; it is one of my favorite fics of all time. I hope we see more Lestrade in the epilogue; I still feel like his story is unresolved.
