And then I had about a week of feeling pretty normal, and then I got some kinda flu or something that knocked me flat and I slept for most of two days straight and I'm still feeling lousy/tired out of sorts. Phew. So after well over a month solid of petsitting and random paper delivery days, on top of "holidays", things are finally starting to wind down for me a bit. Its been fun and accomplishful but very very exhausting. Startin' to see the resolutions go up as New Years approaches. I'm probably not going to make it to midnight since I've got a splitshift first-in-the-morning/midday/last-thing-at-night with a puppy (read: very old dog) for quite a while yet. At least I got to pet dogs yesterday!
My toe has a lovely throb-throb-ow counterpoint going on since last night. I must have pushed too hard yesterday to get things done which means I can't push to do things today or I'm in bad shape tomorrow. Got ma foot x-rayed today. The bruising is pretty much gone but its still really swollen and hurts/aches/feels like there is a marble stuck in the joint at times. Getting my foot x-rayed was a much less awesome experience than I was hoping it might be. Really it was sadly mundane. I don't think my foot even got super powers or anything. It ( Read more... )
