Slowly re-immersing into the net-o-sphere?
If anyone else is particularly fond of thief type books I've got a short series rec for you. Its "The Queen's Thief" series by Megan Whalen Turner and sort of maybe counts as young adult fiction. Woo for reasonably priced fancy plywood courtesy of Hobby Hobby [ http://hobbyhobby.com/store/ ].
I walked in and went "ok where's my plank". My dad and brother walked in and went "OOH!"
The shop is filled with motorized planes and helicopters. The added touch was the training simulator so that you don't fry your $1000+ model on its first flight ( Read more... ) -

Sasha and Grampa
Mission put dog in a smaller jar after drilling a hole in the unexpectedly sealed bigger jar so we can put her in the tin with the artwork and the fish bone from Grampa's banjo catfish that wouldn't die when accidently left out of water for three days so we can secretly bury part of her in the Protestant (?) graveyard when we do the in-urnment of ( Read more... ) -
