Hurray! Another friend, a young adult fantasy novelist, got tired of waiting for agents and publishers and finally decided to try podcasting a book. It took off and she now has thousands of subscribers, was nominated for a best podcast novella award, and is producing her next book in full cast audio.

My point, besides bragging about my pal, is that people are finding new ways to present their work and audiences are finding new ways to find things they like. Hello Amy, thanks so much for the encouraging words and the suggestion of podcasting! And hurray for your pal's podcasting success! I'm in the process of figuring out how best to add audio files to my entries. I'll also research how to podcast. The digital world offers such opportunities for new ways to present and embellish our work. We live in interesting times.

Hope you and yours are well, enjoyed the holidays, and have a great 2010!
