Busy day
It's a busy day in the Copeland family. Alice is going to Tampa with Mistie, Fiona and Ryan to buy a car and go to Busch Gardens. Alex and John are meeting Abbie at MegaCon. And I am going to sell pottery with Ian at the Whyne & Mutts Art Stroll in College Park. It's no wonder we can make such beautiful things with such high tech equipment. :)

I hate cars and being sick
I was on the way to work Tuesday and made a quick stop for some breakfast at Winn Dixie near AAA. When I got back to the car, it wouldn't start. Since I start work at 7 am, there's no one I can call for rescue, so I start hoofing it--in high heels and dress pants in about 35 degree weather. My feet hurt from dancing
On Valentine's Day, we went to Busch Gardens to see Willie Nelson. Ryan had never been to Busch Gardens, Fifi had never been to a Willie Nelson concert, and Ryan and Mistie hadn't been to one since the ill-fated Silver Springs debacle, so it was high time to ride some roller coasters and introduce Fiona to her spiritual grandfather.

Half-assed Reflecting
I just looked back at what you might call my "new year's posts" from Jan. 2009. Funny to look back and see what I wanted out of this year vs what I got. I said that I hoped 2009 would be more peaceful and settled than 2008. That didn't really happen, but we did maintain a sort of happy and productive if often stressed out sort of chaos. New Years Rockin' Eve
Here's a link to Marvin's New Years pictures. There are a couple of odd ones in there of Mistie holding a kitchen towel to my foot that might require a little explanation. Don't play with sparklers barefoot. We had some of those hefty metal ones and I stepped on a flaming shard of molten metal (Ryan did too, but it just burnt a hole in his sock).
