I can't find a band anywhere.
There's too much hardcore on the go, and nobody wants to take risks.

I need a good excuse to get out of the house now and then.

One year later I remember this exists. In the event that anyone might read this, I'm playing in a show at Distortion this coming Friday 18+, and an all ages Saturday at 2, with Gale. I promise you high quality music and good times.

In other news, nothing has notably changed in the timespan that I forgot this existed.

I just painted the entire white base of the salmon fest stage today. With modest help. I still don't believe how working 13 hours in a row makes sense to me beforehand but afterwards I can look back and strongly affirm I'm crazy. Ah well, I do it for the money. So while trying to torrent Adobe Audition, audio mixing software, I end up with a fork in the road. Get the one with 171 seeders saying MULTLAN in front of it or the regular version. Either way, I picked the normal one, but the MULTLAN one had for description "excellenté"
Perhaps I found that too funny.

So while slander for Sonata Arctica as a powermetal band tends to push them into mid-tempo songs, they discover writing proggish stuff on Reckoning Night could work. Much excitement and applause ensues from an awesome album ( Read more... )

Sonata Arctica's UNIA has leaked. For those of you who are planning to buy it anyway/already have it on preorder, I suggest you pick it up. It's only a promo, as they say, I'm still waiting for my torrent to finish.
