I did my trumpet jury today and threw it down. I played my E major scale 2 octaves and Dr. Grechesky was like "wow, well that was an added bonus!" My solo went relatively well, I made no mistakes on my scales thanks to Jay Webb burning all major/harmonic minor scales into my soul by fear of being publicly humiliated. This week went decently. I would rate my work in the class room as mediocre at best, but atleast I'm getting it done. Still a ton of stuff I need to do before I leave for Crown on Friday. Wow, so WGI was in Dayton this weekend and I was with the I-2 all weekend. I am so happy I went because it was so much fun. We practiced outside all weekend and we all got some sun. My work for school has multiplied by like 10 this week.  I know finals is crazy and everything but it's not just that.  Out of the blue I have papers to write, music to play, places to be, research to do...  I guess this is my repayment for an easy freshman year.  We played Capture the Flag with SAI sorority yesterday and it was really retarded.  ( Read more... )
