Well... It's getting closer and closer to the time for me to go to basic.. and as it is getting closer the more scared and nervous I am getting. I am so afraid of many things that has to do with me leaving

Being that I couldn't be there to say goodbye to you, I'm probably one of the last people you'd care to hear from. Nevertheless, I'll continue. (Surprise! I'm that f*cking dense...:-P)

You have fear, doubt and resolution all in the same mind, competing for space. Doesn't that always seem to happen when these big things come? My suggestion is that you give your resolution some help to win that space every now and then. Don't be overly headstrong, but be confident about the future. Should you start to lose that confidence, I think you know by now where to find most of your friends. (If letters are your only communiquè now, I'lll send you my residence hall address which I just got yesterday; I'll send you an email, you do what you want with it.)

You know I don't want you to leave. Because without you...my better half...I feel like I don't know what to do. I miss you now..and you live in the same state as me. I know that I'm going to miss you like crazy. I wrote you a 3 page letter. I want to give it to you. I want you to stay in michigan and never leave. you are my best friend..forever..even if you are a million miles away..always remember that.
