Can someone explain to me why I have these crazy urges to:
- write
- shave my legs
- play The Sims
every single time I have a test or paper or something? Because it never, ever fails.
I haven't even played The Sims in like, 4 years. I do shave my legs more regularly than that, but it's this compulsion to do so as a method of procrastination. WTF -
Still awake.
Still awake at 4:47am. Not due to WoW or anything, either. Due entirely to a test I have tomorrow, worth a paltry 15% (seriously, not being sarcastic) of my grade. So I'm doing readings I hadn't done in preparation for it. Hopefully I'll get 2 hours of sleep before I have to go to class, then can come home, do my work shift and nap some more. -

Usually, I don't feel too much older than my classmates.
But this TA is talking about War of the Worlds airing on the radio in 1938. And is having to explain it, in depth, for my classmates' benefit.
Because a large percentage of my class hadn't. heard. of. it. -

Every once in a very great while, miraculous things happen and you are able to cut a deal with God (or the universe). These deals are to be appreciated and God (or the universe or both) is to be thanked. Then the responsibility becomes ours to uphold our end of the bargain.

Today, I got up early, went to JB's, then went with her to the hospital where she had blood taken for some tests. Her boyfriend gets dizzy and pale white when he sees medical stuff on TV and faints at the sight of a needle, so I went with JB to ensure she didn't, you know, pass out ( Read more... ) -
