I managed to escape on my own for a few hours today and went to see "Avenue Q" which was as fun and perverted as expected.  Nothing like watching puppet sex and having song lyrics like "The internet is for porn" and "Everyone's a little bit racist".

After a few days of "doing stuff" I finally had a veg-out today.  I think I needed it; last night I had a melt down and it continued into the morning.  Homesickness is a bitch.   I think I need to find a job ASAP so that I have more money to do cool stuff, not just the plays and museum trips my family deem worthy.  Not that those things haven't had ( Read more... )

Back in the motherland. Will make a more detailed post tomorrow but in the spirit of getting my body clock into London time, I need to head to bed soon.

I will however point out that when I stepped out the plane at 5pm there was 30 deg heat. Almost felt like a Brisbane summer day.

Thus far I have made it to the stopover in Korea more or less in one piece.   Due to my immense sleep deprivation and lack of adventure buddy, I am spending the night in the comfy bed of the Hyatt Regency Incheon.  I had kind of hoped to get some value out of my discount-airline enforced overnight stay but Seoul is a good hour trip away and big ( Read more... )

Transformers Movie - The website has new teaser trailer up for viewing.  Not that the movie is realeased for another year, but looks like it might be a good'un.

So.... did anyone else know that Aaron Spelling had died?  We should all take a moment to remember the man that brought Kindred: The Embraced  to the world.

Many people have heard me complain about bad luck with cab drivers.  From the weird to the sleazy to the "I'm going to lose my license when I go to court in two weeks" I took most of it with a fair degree of humour.  Tonight however was not so entertaining.
