One of the English girls at work yesterday became upset when she learnt that Steve Irwin had died. I was telling this to my step mother last night and she gave me a rather blank look. Conversation went like this:
ME: Steve Irwin? You know, the Crocodile Hunter from Australia?
SM: Oh yes.. I know the one.

It's a bit earlier than I planned but the ticket is booked - I'm back in Brisbane Sunday October 29 Monday October 30 (at 6.20am... so I'm not expecting a horde of people at the airport welcoming me home).

A post about Edinburgh will be coming, along with London photos I promised earlier. I arrived back in London on Sunday and promptly came down with a cold yesterday so I've been lacking the motivation needed to find the USB cable for my camera.

While I think that holding LARP events at a pub and allowing players to drink during games is a great thing, I find I am missing the "post-game drinks" that are a staple of every Brisbane requiem game.
