I drive under the tram every day on my way home from work, and the first day I saw it running I went "WHOA!" I didn't hear anything about them starting it up - I thought there would have been a bigger to-do made about the whole thing. But it was just there one day, hanging over my car.

It's not open to the public right now. That won't be until mid to late January. Not sure if they're going to do a big to-do then.
