Very well written. "It was reciprocal altruism. I’ll do something for you, with the expectation that you will do something for me in the future. It was anthropology."--of course, the Romans epitomized this attitude: "Do ut des," i.e., I give (to you) so that you give (to me), was how they saw their relationship with the gods. Blurring the line... Thanks again.

OH MY! There were so many stunningly lovely moments in this fic! I don't even know where to begin!!! You did such a wonderful job of putting Brennan together in this, I just loved it!!

...knowledge became like a blanket, a blanket of snow that covered her earth in an unending peace of tranquility and understanding. Knowledge was the constant in her life, unchanging in its stability...She could never understand people who lived for the spontaneity of the moment. Upon what did you rest your head at night?

You had me hooked as soon as I read these lines. I thought...now here is some good insight into Brennan's thoughts and reasoning. Very well done!!

Seriously? Wow. Just...wow. I think you wrote Brennan brilliantly well, but I can't even tell you what my favorite parts are, 'cause there are way too many, and yeah. I really, really liked this. Lovely fic.

SAM THAT WAS AMAZING! You write so so fantastically well! Every sentence is laden with imagery and meaning and it just blows me away. Taking anthropology has really added so much to your fiction as well, you can really get in their and understand what Brennan studied back in her first year of college, because you did it too!

I have so many lines I love it would be ridiculous to list them all as I'd just be re-writing this whole thing; but here are a few:

She didn’t trust his beliefs. But she could trust him. And that was enough to give her hope. - This just illustrates their relationship and the profound effect Booth has on Brennan so well!

That was the moment that Brennan found solace in something more than science.

It was the faith she had in human beings, in humanity. A faith that she had lost sometime ago when she was fifteen. And she was no longer alone in the world. - This was just beautiful, really just hit home.

This was amazing bb and I hope you write more!
