Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books, so I'm glad you're enjoying it. Actually, reading it the first time was when I came to love the name Lydia (even though she's the "bad" daughter). :)
Interesting about the "mental bond" between you and your mom and sisters. I absolutely believe that a connection like that exists between my mom and me, and also between me and Lydia. For instance, the other night we were getting ready to go to bed, and Lydia was spending the night at a friend's house. I suddenly thought that I should turn my cell phone on in case Lydia was sending me a text message, even though it was nearly one in the morning. There were no messages waiting, but within one minute, literally, of me turning on the phone, I got a message from her saying, "Are you up?" Coincidence? I think not. :)
Its so strange how that happens! Do you ever pick up the phone to call them only to have them on the line before you dial because they've just called you?
