So everyone here, I personally feel that prom is being blown way out of proportion. It's irritating me so bad. I wish that everyone would stop blowing it up in to this huge romantic disney princess ball thing. Granted, I'm excited to dress up and go out but really. This is NOT my wedding for crying out loud. Brittanty, you are SO right. THANK you for saying something! Everyone is so paranoid about senior prom and making it into a huge deal and trying to find dates...I dont really care, Ill find one at the last minute hehe...it's not the biggest thing in MY life anyways, it's just an expen$ive overrated school dance hehehe...but lots of fun I guess...but you have to go to have fun not for romance. Good thoughts, I hate how expensive it is though. I mean, the tickets alone are $50, then there is still dinner, a tux, shoes, and who knows what else. It will be fun, but you have to make it fun. Like you said, don't expect a cinderela evening to just happen. If you go and tell youself to relax and have fun, then you will. I can't wait though.

P.S. Preferably not Disney style! lol

LOL i have to say, i was one of those supper excited to go to prom myself. i'm guilty as charged! the truth of the matter is, that prom is not big deal, it's just a night out with your friends, having a good time!!! i was dissapointed cos i imagined it to be huge thing! but it isn't, it was fun though!!! except for your toe, i felt so terrible, u had to go through that pain!
ppl, just chill, ur not getting married!!! i have twice been in that situation, my 15th birthday, and prom!! altho i have to say my15th bday was very much like a wedding, crazy!! anyways yeah, have fun for both u and me!!! since i'n not going! i'm so jelous!
