could you guys do me a HUGE favor and visit my photography website. i want for you to be brutally honest with me and tell me what you think of my work. you can even post anonymously. anything you say will be constructive criticism. i just need for some people to be openly honest with me ( Read more... )

i'm wondering if people are intimidated by my prices. i have a friend who is also a photographer and is telling me to jack up my prices because i'm too cheap! i'm soooo lost when it comes to this stuff!

I know when I was looking for a photographer I wanted your skills but at a cheaper price. I honestly wouldn't jack up the prices just yet!

Even $1200 for a weeding feels too much for me, but I'm guessing maybe people splurge on that area and we just couldn't! So yea, maybe they are intimating?

I won't be much help either, I love your work. I also wish I lived closer so that I could take advantage of your creative eye.

Your website and work are fabulous in my opinion, maybe it's just the marketing aspect? Get you're name out there on yahoo/google searches, in wedding magazines, theknot.com (Great wedding resource site), etc. Not sure if you've already done all that but just my thoughts.

I hope business picks up soon for you!

yeah, i've listed myself with all of the free advertising things online. i also was in a bridal fair a couple of months ago and i just ran a really nice 3x5 ad in our local newspaper......so i have no idea! i'm actually the cheapest photographer around here for what the type of work that i do.

i dunno?? haha.

i love your work. the composition, everything. LOVE IT.
i wish you lived closer to me or vice versa.
in MD, your rates are AFFORDABLE.

i hope i can find someone as talented as you for when i need engagement/wedding pictures.

p.s i could do without the music on the page, but otherwise, it looks AWESOME.

yeah, i have no idea. it's just really bumming me out and making me second guess my work and stuff. i'm not confident in my work at all, so whenever i have ads or whatever and no one calls me to set up anything....then i really start feeling more and more unconfident.
