You might want to ask him about it Josh. He might've accidentally hit the wrong thing, looked at the wrong line for your grade, or the computer messed up. It did that to me in computer tech in 9th grade. But when I talked to the teacher, she looked it up and something had just gotten switched around somewhere because instead of a "C"(like the report card said) I really had a high "A". She fixed it and it put my GPA back where it was supposed to be. Hope it works out. ~Katy
At our school, our P.E. teacher's philosophy is "If you are not a super star athlete and you aren't good at the sports we play,..then you aren't participating." Basically. That might be an exaggeration but...it's quite true.
This has happened with a lot of people. Most people in my school have bad grades in his class...because well he says the don't "participate".
He said I don't participate.
I do all I can to participate.
For example, a couple of weeks ago we ran the mile. To get 100% you had to run it in 8 minutes. For me, I can only run it in about 10. I got a C.
So, as hard as I try my best to participate, there's nothing I can do.
Hey, I'm a grad of '97. (an old person) Man, that's not fair at all! I think as long as you run the mile, not goofing off, that you should get an A! I mean, everybody has different speeds... I definitely couldn't do it in 8 mins. I'd keel over! I wonder if you could appeal your grade or something. Maybe your Mom and/or Dad could say something to Mr. Brokke. Is this the same Mr. Carpenter that used to teach driver's ed? He got on my nerves, too. Jeez, best of luck...
Josh, I totally understand how you feel. The thing about Mr. Carpenter is that he's partly psychotic, and partly just stupid. He should give you a 100% for the effort you put in. Alot of kids at Spring Valley don't even try at all, and when we run a mile, they give us like 20 minutes.

Thanks for the advice though, :)
