Did you try putting a comment in his lj on the off-chance that he gets email notifications? That might be a way to get a hold of him in case he changed his email address.

I sent it to the lj address that forwards when you have a paid account. I also sent it to his UW address.

I'll try the LJ thing, too, but I think it gets routed the same way an LJ address does.
