I would be really tempted to do some really flowing, graceful tribal - sort of like vines etc.

If you like the whole butterfly thing, you could have like some really decorative caterpillars at one end, then a crysalis or two, then emergent and flying butterflies at the other end. A real symbol of new life and re-invention. Butterlfies could be going fomr wings just expanding to full flight - make a whole theme of it.

Would look stunning, though it would also take a lot of space. I've seen it attempted, but never seen it done properly, as most people concentrate on the butterflies, and I've rarely seen the caterpillars done properly.

Would love to see this done by Nigel Kurt in Barnsley - best animal portraiture I've ever seen.

I get tattoos to symbolise myself at various times of change too!

My fairy tattoo represents me when I was at a peaceful time and I was quiet and just wanted to magic the world into a better place for anyone.

My next one is stars in a bursting type design because now I'm bubbling over with enthusiasm for everything and just want to be as loud as I want and have as much fun and twinkle about trying to lighten things up..

I think it's too personal-a-thing to ask others for but that's just the way it works for me :)
