We "the People" unfortunately vote, and some do not...most it seems now. the ones left who choose to play the coin of politics...people like my Father and perhaps friends or loved ones of yours, chomped mightily at the Bush bit.
Regardless, as they have said in politics, and inaction has proven it, social security is the "third rail". Yes, it is unfortunate that the many have forfieted thier right to vote and thus have voiced apathy towards our political machine.

You are absolutely correct in my mind. This Democracy is a a direct by-product of our selfish desires. I just wonder at times how deeply seeded our selfish desires are? At what point will the many say this is ridiculous, we are killing ourselves? Will it be too late by that time?

I don't have the answers, never confessed to. I do carry with me hope and share it with whomever wishes to drink of her nourishement.

Thanks for listening.
