Big Bird is a Ratite

At least that is the concensus we Docents came to this morning on our bird walk at Malibu Creek State Park.

I had never been to Malibu Creek so this was immediately an exciting thing for me personally. Upon arrival we saw a herd of young Mule Deer just hanging out chomping down some moist ground cover. I was stoked to share this moment with my Lady
