Not really an entry because there are lots of comments I haven't responded to yet...

...so I'd feel bad about writing a new entry proper before writing replies to those. Thus go my vague and unwritten rules about LiveJournalling, anyway. Christ knows what new guilt trips Facebook has in store for me ifwhen [sigh...] I eventually concede defeat and set up a profile thingy there, n'all. Even Tom Archer's on it these days, after ( Read more... )

Shocking as it might sound, I was looking for my Flickr for starters, but yeah, I figured that was prob'ly the case. I have vague intentions of getting my head around PieSpaceBook at some point, but for now I just wanted to inflict yet more comedy pictures of cats and bits of interesting cathedral upon the internet via Flickr (and read webcomics about OCDers and five year old toy otters). BAH.

Hi, I've added you to my friendslist. I hope that's OK with you. Your replies in mrs_leroy_brown and scarletslippers's journal always make me laugh or are incredibly interesting, and are most often some lovely combination of the two.

In case you're interested, my journal is mostly about opera and complaining and complaining about opera.

Yay! That's more than OK with me, and I shall add ye back forthwith. I've long been casting admiring glances at your responses in the aforementioned lovely ladies' journals, but can be stupidly shy, even on the internet, so have never got as far as actually saying anything along the lines of, "Cor, you seem ace! Let's be friends!" Dope that I am.

Opera and complaining and opera complaining sounds good to me. I seem mostly to write about cake and cats and laughing at stupid things and BBC Radio 4 and my own raging paranoia.

Great! Thanks! I'm pretty internet-shy too (and VERY regular shy), but I just couldn't resist after your comment about great women who should be immortalized in Bec's awesome poetry post.

I seem mostly to write about cake and cats and laughing at stupid things and BBC Radio 4 and my own raging paranoia.

I've never listened to Radio 4, but 4 out of 5 isn't bad!
