Keeping my fingers crossed that the new girl will start to pick up on things more quickly soon, so it won't be so frustrating and stressful for you! And good luck with preparing to quit at the end of April- I know it's stressful, but I'm glad that you're starting to feel better about it, since your workplace is making you so miserable and exhausted and I hope so much that your next job will be a lot better. *hugs* I really hope your head feels completely better soon, too!

I'm just hoping against all hope that no movie/book fandoms make it in even though I know it's futileMe too, tbh. Like, I LOVE Harry Potter, but I feel like it doesn't make sense to have it in FMM? And I am totally ready to take down The Avengers (I haven't even seen the movie but the fandom is so obnoxious and I can't stand Jeremy Renner's face, so). aw, thank you! Unfortunately the new girl has been getting worse and not better, but I'm actually more amused than irritated at this point just because I knew this was going to happen. DEFINITELY UP FOR THE NICK MILLER 2013 CAMPAIGN!!! Although I probably won't do any actual campaigning because I'm lazy and don't have the time/energy. But I'm hoping he gets far, and I would love for him to win it. Very glad Schmidt didn't win the bracket (although I'm kind of annoyed that I think he got more votes than Cece and Winston, since Schmidt has easily been my least favorite this season ( ... )

ooo that's a great list of movies! I'm so excited for Before Midnight since Before Sunrise/Sunset are both on my list of all time favs.

I had to train someone like that. She literally has taken SEVERAL NOTEBOOKS full of notes. It's probably enough to have written her own book on what we do and yet I'm not sure how much it's really helped? And she's also SUPER slow. If I goofed off on the internet all day long and then worked for 15mins I'm sure I could do more work than she does concentrating really hard and barely taking a lunch. It's sad.

My only sci fi vote is for Lost Girl and I don't even watch that show, it's basically just an anti-Merlin/Avengers/BSG/The Hobbit/etc. votehaha same! Although I probably will vote for BSG just because I don't know what else to pick? Lost Girl has pretty lesbians and that's all I know ( ... )

WAY TOO EXCITED FOR BEFORE MIDNIGHT!!!! I need it in front of my eyeballs ASAP.

ugh, seriously, that is exactly what this woman is like. She has taken so many notes, but she keeps asking me things she's taken notes on, and SHE NEVER ACTUALLY USES THE NOTES. I was even showing her something I had shown her before that she had taken notes on, and she was like "Oh, I should take notes since I don't have any on this yet," and I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME, YES YOU DO!!!!!"

I actually do love BSG, I think I'm just a little resentful because I feel like it got in on a technicality? Like, in the true spirit of things, it shouldn't really be included. But I'm less bothered by its presence than the movie/book fandoms just because I feel like they don't fit. I do actually watch Bunheads!!! I mean, I'm a couple episodes behind so I haven't seen the finale yet, but it's a totally delightful show, so it was easy to vote for it (even though I knew it wouldn't make it ( ... )

Ugh I heard about Hart of Dixie before I watched it too and immediately was like BYE. I'm not going there, that's stupid, and you're right that it feels like a manipulative move to make us dislike Wade and root for Zoe to be with someone else. YOU DON'T GET TO JUST HAVE SOMEONE CHEAT ON SOMEONE ELSE WHEN YOU'VE SPENT 10+ EPISODES SETTING UP A RELATIONSHIP THAT THEY CLEARLY WANT!!!!!! Maybe his motivations are stronger, I don't know, I refuse to watch it unless we find out they undo it all within another episode or so. Zoe/Wade was the main reason I was liking season two so much, and I have NO INTEREST in watching something where George and Zoe make googly eyes at each other AND make out, because George is kind of a jackass, LET'S BE REAL. Like, we're just supposed to forget he left his long-time fiancee at the altar after promising he was committed? No. Jackass move. I'm done with George. And since they played out Annabeth/Lavon in the exact way I didn't want them to, I'm not real interested in that, either. UGH, WHATEVER, I WANTED TO ( ... )

RIGHT??? IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE BASED ON ANYTHING WE'VE SEEN OF WADE AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP. I will get caught up if it turns out that this was not done solely to put George/Zoe back together and George just stays with Tansy and Wade makes the appropriate amends and Wade and Zoe get back together, but for now it's like, THIS SHOW WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY HAPPY PLACE, AND THIS IS NOT MAKING ME HAPPY, SO WHY BOTHER WATCHING. But yeah, I had no desire to get sucked into another CW show, AND I KNEW THIS WOULD INEVITABLY HAPPEN (although I wasn't expecting it to be quite this bad), so I guess I have no one to blame but myself ( ... )
