I'm getting a yen to try and knit again. I've only learned a little bit a couple of times, but my left wrist just couldn't take the strain for some reason. Magpy suggested continental knitting ages ago, and I finally went looking for videos of how it is done. I don't think it's quite what I need. Be sure and take before and after pictures: see if the results look like the Skylab spiders' webs. ;)

If it looks like those spiders' webs, how am I supposed to blame microgravity? Maybe if I do a lot of tourist trips so nobody will guess...

MIL used to teach at USC up to about 20 years ago. It's not that big a field, so there's a chance.
