I took my IUD out this week.  So we are officially  trying! :)

I am totally ready to be pregnant again, but I'm just taking it easy, and letting things happen as they happen.  I'm excited, and Nan is on board as well.

So I got a new job, it's with Friend's of Youth which is based on the Eastside.  Actually I am covering 2 positions.  One is at a small overnight shelter for young adults (18-24).  I'm working one or 2 shifts a week at the overnight shelter.  The shift is either 8:30-11:30, or 8:30 to 8:30.  I started that one about 2 weeks ago and I am loving it ( Read more... )

I rehomed my turtles yesterday.  They went to live in Granite Falls in an enclosed pond thats about the size of half my house.  They will have 4 other turtle friends and a ton of giant koi.  I am so happy to have given them the home they really deserve.  I am sad I didn't do it sooner.  I will miss them though.  I raised them from tiny babies, and ( Read more... )

We are moving on May 1.  We got approved for the place in R&C's complex.  We get the keys this wednesday.   It was kind of a scramble to give notice and scrape up the deposit (especially with all the vet stuff going on), but I managed it with some creative budgeting!  I also charged some things I really wanted for the new place like a new mop/broom ( Read more... )

I visited with a surgeon, and  found out that we can try surgery.  They won't know how bad it really is until they get in there, but there is a good chance that if they can remove all of it, he won't have any further problems.  I am hoping it works!  His surgery is on Tuesday, and he will have to stay overnight at the vet.  I am worried about him!

Trevor is getting so big.  I keep wondering where my sweet little immobile incapable baby went.  He's been replaced with this super smart, amazingly capable and aware little person.  Sometimes it's hard to believe he's the same kid I gave birth to just over a year ago.

Some changes are afoot, and I am all stressed out, even though they are good changes.  N is starting school in June.  He's going to go to Everett Community College and either go into their 2 year manufacturing technology degree, or start his engineering transfer degree.  He's gonna take a few of the basic courses and see how it goes.  I am super ( Read more... )
