I like my Livejournal most when I'm at home and I can write about the funny things my family does. Today at work for some reason I explained "crust punk" to my dad, and later he was trying to remember what it's called and said "what's that thing? crunch busters?" Today at work I also learned how to install hard wood floors

my mom can't get over that i say 'niptacular' instead of 'nipping out,' and last summer insisted i'd made up the word 'ta-ta's' she brought it up at the dinner table in front of josh rosenthal. it was pretty awesome.

my father read an article in the NY times about the term 'down low' and doesn't believe me that 'down low' does not USUALLY mean 'i am a black man having a secretive homosexual affair. shh'
