So, it's Father's Day. I decided to write my dad a letter and bake him a cake. He didn't seem to care. This is where the bad day began

aww, man that sucks. well on the bright side, if your dad doesn't pay for you, and you start paying for yourself then they have less control over you. but yea, its ok..maybe you can convince your mom a little to give you some money?
Yeah, it does. The funny thing is my dad hasn't paid for college yet... I went through an entire year of school without my dad paying for me.... I haven't seen any less control.
This summer isn't starting out to great for you, but there is still time ahead.
Look on the bright side - you totaled Volvo, not yourself. It’s easy to take care of a vehicle after an accident, it’s much more effort to take care of a human.
When it comes to med school - my dad wanted me to be a doctor… I refused. Now he borrows my car to impress his friends.
As that saying goes - it’s not over till it’s over! You have nothing to worry about, only a few issued to address and resolve.
You know very many people struggle in life with worse situations. Now eventhough yours is not good look on the bright side, atleast your problems can be resolved with the right kind of help. Others are stuck with problems for the rest of their life. As far as you dealing with your problems. The best thing i can say is try and find a junk yard, get you a side view mirror cheap 25$ probably. the garrage door...i'm sure your dad needed an excuse to buy a new one so dont worry bout that. School i think you should not worry bout that 2 much b/c your parents would not worry bout med school if they were'nt interested in furthering your education. Also one bad year of grades doesn't constitute as Horrible you still have many years to come your smart you can do better I AM SURE!! Most importantly....you are ok and your days go by some bad some good..so dont dwell on the bad and dont wait on the good you will get your share of days just like the rest of us!! I promise in the end you'll just end up with you the people you LOVE and your health
