I moved into my dorm room monday night, and so far I'm really happy here. I have a single room that came with a fridge, sink and microwave in this really cool old building that has ivy growing on the walls, a courtyard, and a women's resource center in the basement that is home to the weekly meetings of the Stitch and Bitch Club. ...but I was riding my bike doing errands today and I got harrassed twice! I was riding on the street in a wooded area where next to the road was a steep embankment and there was no shoulder. I just jumped back on lj to tell y'all that my birthday is in...um...5 days! That's right, May 3rd is a grand and glorious day.

I know filling the first update with emo is lame, but family drama is really stressing me out. This is the first holiday season that we've really had any major drama and it seems like I'm stuck in the middle of it.
