Well we have a new teaching contract. I'm excited I have a job, but I am not excited about the measly amount I will get for my retirement. The Glass Castle, by Jeanette Walls

It is a remarkable story of a free spirited family growing up as nomads and later in West Virginia. The author tells her story free of bitterness and full of love for her less than "Ozzie and Harriet" parents. I found it to be a beautiful story!
