Sure! I'm kind of lackluster with my LJ, but I'm flattered and I'd be happy to friend you. I don't know whether my parents are going to let me move to said brand-new place and experience its culture on my own, but I'm dying to do it and hope it works out. :)

Lol, sure, if you friend me I'll certainly friend you back. I don't update very often, though, and when I do I update in French (I'm trying to improve my French by immersing myself in it as much as possible) with English translations. If that sounds all right to you, by all means yes. :)
