seems like it's not a very good month for things. my second cousin's mom died last week from cancer, which she had been fighting for a while. my other cousin's grandpa died two nights ago. and my mom had surgery to remove polyps yesterday. it just seems like this type of bad news that involves other people keeps coming about. it's not a very ( Read more... )

my first day of work and my feet hurt real bad. but i did put a pair of awesome steve madden heels on hold and i love being able to see clothes first before it goes out on the floor. are vans slip ons good for standing for long periods of time? my chucks are just not cutting it, plus i have big ol' holes in the bottoms, which leads to the imbalance ( Read more... )

holy shit, i got hired for two jobs in one day. crossroads vs lush. i picked crossroads, although lush pays $1.20 more, which i KNOW adds up to more money in the long run but i think i'd be happier at cr. and it's more fitting of me to work there. yeahhhhhhhh i got a job! and a cell phone, finally.

went to berkeley with darlene d today to watch a play for class. the play was set in a tiny room and the audience surrounded the "stage" and it made me feel sort of uncomfortable because it was so close and intimate. but i learned that darlene and i have sooo much in common, it's crazy. i had one of the best hot dogs ever and i don't even like hot ( Read more... )

i just had my interview for crossroads on haight. i'm actually getting a second interview. score. i might actually not be unemployed.

wow, sin city was so awesome. saw some kiddies i knew who were freshies when i was a senior in high school. they're so cute. now i'm gonna head to ross to look for some boots.
