Here we are, it's Halloween, and I haven't caught covid through my job visits this month so woop woop survival is ongoing. It's been a very quiet weekend after rather a busy week (twice at the theatre! The Mirror and the Light was excellent and I'm really sad it's closing early; Blithe Spirit was fun - I've learned I love Noel Coward, frivol though

I keep looking at the theatre tickets but for the two of us, the price is just too high to justify on something where we are crammed into tiny seats that don't suit us at all and we're close to so many other people. Maybe next year. I'm glad you enjoyed your outings.

I've realised I do add some extra letters to words as I often add -ish to times LOL!

I don't tend to go to West End theatres for that reason; public and fringe ones are much better value, but I had some theatre tokens left over from Christmas 2019 and it was time to use them!

Ish is a good extra, now you mention it, it's one I use too!

I don't think I'm ready for either the theatre or the cinema, yet. But those two do sound good. I think I can imagine (probably totally wrongly *g*) Jennifer Saunders as Madame Arkaty.

Checking the weather is probably what I did, too.

I've only done cinema once tbh, and that was midafternoon midweek, where there were only 3 or 4 of us in the screen! Theatre is something I love so much it does feel like it's worth a risk (considering I have to go to the office which is basically unprotected). Saying that, a friend has just got covid badly and I'm back in very cautious mode.

She was brilliant - really not overdoing the crazy, but completely surprising all the same.
