August 4: Today, I watched both of Randy Pausch's lectures. I feel very enriched by them and I think he was an amazing guy. 

July 31: Who am I kidding, every day I'm on vacation is a positive day.

July 28: Definitely the highlight was getting out surfing. I got totally trashed in the waves, but oh well. I think I need to get better at spotting the right ones. Well, and standing up would be nice too, but I'm not in any rush right now. 

July 26: Admittedly, the best part about yesterday was doing nothing for most of the day. July 24: Nice relaxing day in the clinic. I got to see how the ENT facial plastics guy does blephs (eyelid lift) and also got to see my first injectable filler. Our patient was awesome. July 23: Busy day in clinic this morning but then had my half-day research this afternoon, and that always makes me happy.

It's kinda sad, but the highlight of my day was being the "Man of the Day" on realjock.com

Oh, I didn't get rained on biking to or from work today--which is a small, positive miracle because it was shitting rain for most of the day today.

Yay for small positives.
