Personal thought time:

Anger is largely an emotion built in fear, and is evidenced by a lack of control and feelings of hopelessness.

It's unlikely that God gets angry, as that would mean he loses control and is enslaved by fear in some sense.

Which is the philosio-theological way of telling you that God probably loves you immensely, and the suffering you feel is the result of someone being stupid and exerting their own will against you.
