Trapped at Sunday River this weekend; just finished third sock of the pair I started before SIGGRAPH deadline. Snow everywhere. (Shoutout to Alec: Robots - AUGHHH!)

And also, one of my bosses is trying to get me drunk! (OK, not really; he & his wife gave me a bottle of champagne today 'with their compliments'.) I think my desk might be filled this afternoon with lemonade & champagne cocktails. :)

I saved a bee from drowning this morning...and then got stopped by a cop on my ride in to work for using my turnsignal before changing lanes. What a weird morning.

Best insulator evar? Poly vinyl chloride glove over the clutch handle and another one over the front brake handle, all securely wrapped in black electrical tape. It doesn't fix the suspected short in the headlight assembly or thereabouts, but it definitely let me drive the bike home from where I shut her down after the bzzzap! started during ( Read more... )
