Hey guys! Time for another autobiography book snark, this time Kristy! She is slightly more bearable to read about than Dawn, but still pretty up there. Still, I remember really liking her book when I was little. It was more interesting than Dawn's, to say the least. Hope you enjoy!

Good thing Mallory never had to do it--Mallory would have to go live at the library in order to do her paper. While I've been binge snarking, one snark mentioned something about Mallory could work in her parents room and not be interrupted. Wonder how long that lasted? Or was she even able to get to her parents room before everybody was whining for her to do something? "Mallory, I've spilled a glass of milk again! Come clean it up for me!" "Mallory, take care of your siblings while we go out to a yard sale ( ... )

I feel sorry for Kristy during the time Karen and Andrew were washing Watson's car and they scraped the paint off. Kristy's worried about Louie, not like she was inside watching tv or talking on the phone for the hell of it.

She should have had the kids go inside with her. Those kids were unattended long enough to literally scrape ALL the paint off that car. For ADULTS, that would take hours.

Then, Nannie, Emily, and Shannon the dog come in. Obviously Nannie is caring for Emily. I am just going to say she is Emily's mother since Elizabeth is rarely seen caring for her.

I hate Elizabeth and Watson for this. Why the hell did they mail-order a child they had no intention of raising?

Anyway, Liz goes into labor right at the start of the game and we get our first glimpse of how much of a jerk Patrick is because when Elizabeth says they should go to the hospital, he's just like, "The baby won't be born for a while let's stay here."

It's TV dramatics that have women rushing to the ER as soon as labor starts. If water hasn't broke, then wait until the contractions are something like four or five minutes apart, or else your chance of a c-section increases. Seriously. Not because of anything going wrong, but because there'll be some sort of "problem" that makes a c-section an "emergency."

I labored for about 14 hours at home, and then had my midwife come over.

I mean people may have memories from being like a year old ( ... )

Thanks for the info. I've never had a baby or even been around anyone in labor so I don't know much about it.

I never understand why jessi, mal, and Kristy are always planning elaborate activities when they are watching their own siblings.

I never understood why their parents call at meeting times and then pay their daughters to watch their own siblings for a couple hours. It's not like Charlotte or Sam would get paid for watching DM, EM, Andrew, or Hellspawn. When I was a kid, watching your own sibling for a few hours when needed was just part of contributing to your household. I'm surprised they don't get paid to clean their own bedrooms.

I like that Karen is playing the villain for a change. And an egomaniacal psychopath at that!
