So it was over. After everything, this is how it would end, on a planet wit a breathable atmosphere and lush vegetation, and a bullet in his head. If he had realized she wasn't "his" Six, would he have acted any differently? Probably not, he admitted to himself. He had assumed they were all connected in some way and felt the same way about him that she did.
The light from the sun behind her made her glow like she was an angle. "Oh, Gaius, I had such plans for us." Six kissed his cheek, then turned and walked away.
