I love the friendship between Dee and Felix in the beginning, and the way Felix's friendship with Noel remains on solid ground despite Felix not returning Noel's romantic feelings.

It's a great glimpse inside how Friendship Isn't Love happened.

Dee's compatibility program...LOL. That was priceless.

This is so wonderfully written, a mixture of light and dark, the full spectrum, no holds barred. I also loved your vivid characterization.

Oh, this was fantastic! I am so glad to see two of my favorite pairings (actually, three, don't think I missed the fact that Hoshi and Narcho were exes!!!) in this. It was painful and it could be so incredibly accurate, and I loved seeing how these two relationships played off each other and ebbed and flowed. Excellent work!

Thanks. Yes, it was 3 pairings as I have adopted the Noel and Louis are exes as head-cannon. I sort of wrote each section as a missing scene from the series, so yeah, very true to cannon.

Ooof. This is so, so smart and hurty right from the very start. “It’s a blind date, not an execution.” Damn. That's what you call a gripping, teasing intro.

I love how this isn't a Dee centric piece and yet there's so much insight into her character. That bit about her Sagittaron roots still coloring her worldview and hinting at conversations she and Gaeta had about her dating choices was priceless. The compatibility program bit is both funny and poignant, both in how much she cares about Felix and what trains of thought about her own decisions might have led her to that place.

I think my favorite part is how politics plays out in these relationships so well. How any little person can be a pawn or a player when there are so few left and what that means for dreams like "dates" and "love." Again, hurty.

Ok, I'll stop now. ;) This was awesome.

Thank you. We all know where Felix's story ends (well unless it's one of my fix-it fics), but I wanted to signal from the beginning this remix was all about the ending. Dee remains one of my favorite characters and the compatibility program as much about her heartaches as her caring for Felix. Thank you for the lovely meaty comment.
