I don't know who read this thing anymore, but most people know that our good friend Aaron was sent over to Iraq recently. I'm going to be posting the emails I get from him, pretty much to just document it for myself, but anyone who has any thoughts or best wishes for him, I'll be happy to pass them along.

I haven't posted on here in months! Well this time it's real, Aaron is going to Iraq. He leaves in a week and a half. Today he finishes moving out so he can spend the last week with his family. I'm not exactly handling it very well, but other people wouldn't know that.

We found out yesterday that we're having a boy!

A great deal happened in the past year. Friendships died, old ones were rekindled and even a few new ones were formed. We celebrated the first birthday of our first child, as well as our second wedding anniversary, and our seventh year together. So Christmas was short and sweet. We'd already gotten our big gift from my parents when we moved into this house. Our pot and pan set as well as the microwave cart/cabinet. Today I get to take Faith on her first outting to Chucky Cheese. I'm not sure if she'll have a blast, or be a little frightened. It's for my cousin Noel's 3rd birthday. I found out my due date yesterday. June 17th. Which means actually more like the 10th since they won't let me go all the way. So now I'm on a search to find a high risk specialist that delivers at Aurora. It's a really nice hospital.
