Oh yeah!! I totally forgot to wish you a happy birthday! I'm sorry. Happy birthday! 18 is not thrilling. You can go buy some white-out at Walmart if you want, lol.
I'll be hitting the second anniversary of my 18th birthday (lol) in two months and I still haven't done anything "18"-ish yet. I will take advantage of my age next fall when I turn 21, however.... Not too much but my mom won't be able to forbid me from drinking wine anymore, thank goodness.
HA! Does she actually do that?! That's quite ridiculous, if you ask me. I mean, after all, if you can get your hands on it, you should be able to drink it since you're 18, and pretty freaking responsible. Hahah. I suppose my mother would probably do the same thing, too. Oh well, parents are kinda crazy like that. =P
Lol. Well, I only get my hands on it when she brings it into the house really. And it's not that she forbids me completely but I'm not allowed to have a glass of my own or anything like that. That doesn't mean that I don't steal sips of other people's however. I'm actually 19, also. I was playing on words in my last comment...Lol. Yeah, they can be a little crazy. I think part of my mom's concern, too, is that my dad used to be an awful alchoholic and now he really can't touch it at all and she's afraid we're all gonna end up like that or something. My dad doesn't really care, hehe. But it's kind of tradition that my aunt gives us alchohol for our 21st birthday so it's cool, lol. However, what I really look forward to is drinking some of the beer that my sister likes to brew with the McDonoughs. :D
i wasn't saying "you're 18" as that comment came out, but what i meant was "since you're already 18" as in, you've already reached (and in this case passed) legal adulthood. however, that isn't how the comment came across.
