Because the connection somewhere between my hands and my brain is faulty now, making it hard to write, type, do anything with my hands other than carry stuff, typing has been designated an OT activity. What this means is that I have a long space every day I have to practice fm things including typing. Sooooooo I get to get online ( Read more... )

Hi. I found you through _asylum_ and despite all your troubles I reckon you're a really great guy. So I've friended you. I just want you to know that all this shit that's happening won't defeat you. You seem to be a very strong person and you will over come these hurdles.

Wow. That was a really really old post. Like...it had to be more than a year. Not a whole lot has changed, except that I've been out of the hospital for a long time, and moved in and out of apartments with various combinations of people, and now I'm sort of homeless-ish. Couch surfing, I guess. The hands still don't work so great, and a lot of the benefits of having had brain surgery have gone away and in a lot of ways I'm back where I started. Story of my life.
