Packing

In an effort to be on top of things, Jared and I have started packing for our April move. So far we have 15 boxes and have stuck to the system I developed when we moved down here, which is incredibly helpful and I would be happy to share with anyone who needs to move. Since I know exactly what is in each box, I can tell you that 5 of those boxes

I carried boxes and boxes of books around for years. Then we had kids and Darrell needed shelf space. I got rid of so many books. It kind of made me sad, but was kind of freeing too. I had a lot of books that I was holding onto "just in case" and got rid of those. Don't get me wrong, I still have a big box in the shed that won't fit in the house but I just can't get rid of. Are you going to buy a house? Or rent one?

We're going to rent one. The one we want is next door to a good friend of ours, so now we're just waiting for the application to be processed and if they pick us.
Jared is really more upset about it than I am, because "our future children might want to read them". Of course, he doesn't own anything that a child would read before they get to be 12 or so, and by then I'm sure they would rather have the next e-book whatever.
